Graduate studentship in Zooplankton Ecology (closes 1/1/2019)

The Stone Laboratory at the University of South Carolina is recruiting a MS or PhD graduate student in the area of zooplankton ecology to start in the summer of 2019. A portion of the research will be focused on analyzing a 35-year zooplankton time series from North Inlet, SC. Possible research projects include analyzing changes in organism and community size structure, food web dynamics, influence of climate change, and effects of zooplankton on larval fish recruitment. The research will include both experimental and model-based components with flexibility for the student to develop their own project. Year-round support (including health benefits & tuition) is provided through a mixture of teaching and research assistantships. Interested individuals should contact Dr. Joshua Stone via email (stone@sc.edu) to discuss their background and research interests.
