[DIALOGnews] DIALOG Reception at ASLO/Salt Lake

Dear all,

This is to let you know there will be a DIALOG reception at the ASLO 
meeeting in Salt Lake City:

Date: Tuesday February 11
Time: 7:00 - 8:30 pm
Location: Salt Lake Room, Best Western Salt Lake Plaza Hotel

This is a great time for *students* and *all DIALOG participants* and 
anyone else who is interested in learning about the program or meet 
recent grads, lto meet. The goal is to be inclusive, so if you know 
someone who wants to come, please bring them.
       I will be there to answer questions about the program, but 
mainly it is just a nice opportunity for you all to get together with 
your peers--meet old friends to renew contacts, or to make new 
acquaintences.

I'm told it is a really nice room, with windows looking out onto 
fountains in the square. I have a little bit of a budget for a 
change, so there will be cheese and crackers, veggies and dip, punch 
and coffee in addition to the "usual" DIALOG fare of chips and 
salsa....  The room will be set up with tables and chairs.

The late time is because the poster session will run till 7:30. The 
food isn't enough for dinner, but should be enough to sustain you all 
while you make plans on where to go afterwards....

If you plan to come, let me know and I'll compile a list so people 
will know who might be there. But if you don't give me names before 
hand, don't hesitate to show up at the last minute-as most of you 
know, I believe in a very free-wheeling style.
