Dear all,

I'm a member of the AGU Excellence in Education Award committee. One
of my responsibilities is to encourage nominations.

It is easy for the broad community to identify excellence in
research, since the outlet by which to measure this is generally
international journals and meetings. We don't recognize excellence in
education so easily--and no one is honored if they are not first
nominated!

Soooo, please do take a moment to think back to your undergraduate
and graduate education experience, and take the time to recognize and
honor an outstanding educator by nominating them for this award.
Cheers, sue
