The GLAD800 (Global Lake Drilling to 800 m) drill rig (now named the D/V Kerry Kelts) coring on Bear Lake, Utah/Idaho in September, 2000, in 63m water depth. (See photo GLAD800@BearLakeMarina). The rig continuously cored two parallel 120m-long holes, with essentially 100% recovery, in standard Ocean Dilling Project (ODP) plastic liners. The sediment recovered represents 240,000 years of sedimentation in Bear Lake
