Roommates Wanted

Roommates Wanted is a free online service to those who are seeking roommates during ASLO meetings. To participate, visit the web site at http://www.aslo.org/meetings/roommates.html.

Career Bulletin Board

The Career Bulletin Board will allow prospective employers and supervisors to post job announcements and students to post a one-page resume for viewing.

Student Travel Awards

A limited number of travel awards will be available for students to defray the costs of registration and/or travel.  Student Travel Award Applications must be submitted at the same time as the student's meeting registration, payment and abstract, and received in accordance with all meeting deadlines.

Outstanding Student Presentation Awards

Awards will be given for the most outstanding posters and talks presented by students at the 2008 Summer Meeting.  To be eligible, a student must be a member of one of the sponsoring societies and first author on research that has not been presented previously at other scientific meetings.  Presentations will be judged on the basis of innovation/scientific insight, quality of experimental design/methods, and clarity/effectiveness of presentation.  There is no need to apply; all eligible presentations will be evaluated in consideration for the awards.
