Getting to St. John's

St. John's International Airport is open 24 hours a day, providing numerous daily air travel connections between St. John's and Halifax, Montréal, Ottawa, Toronto, Western Canada and New York. For European travelers, there are several flights a week between St. John's and London, England.
Airports within Newfoundland are accessible within a one hour flight from St. John's and it's just a two-hour flight to Labrador. The St. John's International Airport is 10 minutes from the city centre. Make sure you book your flight to St. John's Newfoundland, and NOT
to Saint John, New Brunswick (or you'll be a long boat ride away from your destination!!)
Airport Shuttle Service
There is no airport shuttle service available in St. John's. Taxi cabs are available at a cost of $20-$25 CND from the airport and $15-$20 to return from the downtown area when you leave. (The difference is due to a tax at the airport.)
