Travel Awards & Grants
Financial support is available for this meeting through ASLO only for students and early career professionals. Travel grants in those categories will be awarded on a limited basis to those ASLO members that register, submit an abstract, and complete the appropriate travel award application by the 3 October deadline.
Student Travel Awards
Upon registration, students will be offered the opportunity to apply for Travel Awards ranging from $250.00– $1000.00 USD/ €161.00 – €645.00 to defray the cost of travel and/or registration for the meeting. To be eligible, applicants must be student members of one the sponsoring societies. Travel awards will be paid in US dollars only
Travel Grants for Early Career Member
A limited number of travel awards ($1,000.00 USD/ €645.00 each) will be available for early career members to defray the cost of registration and/or travel. Early career travel award applications must be submitted at the same time as the meeting registration, payment and abstract submission, and received in accordance with all meeting deadlines. Travel awards will be paid in US dollars only.
Stipends
Stipends also are available to students who wish to assist as a room monitor during the meeting. You must have a paid registration to assist. All students will be contacted about these opportunities. Stipends are normally awarded in the amount of $100 USD per day of assistance.
