Minorities in the Aquatic Sciences

My name is Dalayna Tillman and I am a junior at Old Dominion University located in Norfolk, VA. I am double majoring in Ocean and Atmospheric Sciences (Geology) and Geography (Geographic Information Systems). I can be contacted through email at Layna21@yahoo.com.
My fields of interest include, caves, petroleum, Sedimentology, rivers & streams, Deep Ocean, atmospheric sciences, modeling, as well as geological oceanography. Courses I have taken and are currently enrolled in include, Sedimentology & Stratigraphy, Paleontology, Physics, Biology, Chemistry, Calculus, Cartography, Intro to GIS, Petrology, Mineralogy, Oceanography, Historical and Physical Geology, and Anthropology. I have 2 internships, one dealing with GIS and mapping for Loyola Enterprises and the other at PCCI, Inc. an Environmental Engineering Firm.
My career goals are to graduate in the spring of 2007 from Old Dominion University and continue on to peruse my graduate and doctorate degrees.
