Ph.D. Graduate Assistantship, Chemical Oceanography
The Department of Physical & Environmental Sciences (http://pens.tamucc.edu/index.html) at Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi (http://www.tamucc.edu/) has a graduate assistantship available for an incoming Ph.D. student in the Coastal and Marine System Science doctoral program.
The funding is available in the areas of chemical oceanography, marine geochemistry or related disciplines, and the student will join a new group focusing on marine carbon cycle (http://faculty.tamucc.edu/xhu/index.htm). In addition, the student will have ample opportunities to interact with researchers from multidisciplinary fields both within the Ph.D. program and in the Harte Research Institute for Gulf of Mexico Studies (http://www.harteresearchinstitute.org/). Full tuition assistance will be provided.
