Research Professor in Oceanography
The University of New Hampshire seeks applications for a Research Faculty position at the Assistant or Associate Research Professor level, working in the Ocean Process Analysis Laboratory (OPAL) of the Institute for the Study of Earth, Oceans, and Space. We invite applicants from all fields of oceanography, particularly those with experience that complements existing OPAL (http://www.opal.sr.unh.edu) research strengths in the study of the physical , biological and chemical dynamics of coastal oceans and ocean margins, air-sea interaction, and ocean remote sensing. The successful candidate's research interests should help to foster interdisciplinary ocean and estuarine science activities within EOS as well as the newly formed UNH School of Marine Science and Ocean Engineering (http://marine.unh.edu). EOS (http://www.eos.unh.edu) has a research budget of more than $45 M/year and conducts multidisciplinary research devoted to the study of the planet Earth and its space environment.
